Week-1 at Pardubice

Pardubice, July 21, 2018.

Six days we are in Pardubice city. There are a lot of experience and journey with my best colleague, Adib Pratama.
After finished from campus activity, we try to look for halal food at the center of pardubice. There is the most famous mall at pardubice, Atrium Palace Pardibice. like in Indonesia. Not too different.

About five minutes from the Atrium, we walking  for obtaining halal food.  I found Kebab House close to Atrium and i ask to the seller is the Kebab halal or not ? Unfortunately, he said to us that the kebab is can’t be eat for us. He refers us to the other kebab halal restaurant. Alhamdulillah, we found it and we get the big portion of Kebab.

Over the next three month, we stay at apartment of Universita Pardubice. The accommodations fee is around  15.000 CK for three month. This building is our apartment.  

We walk from the apartment to the Faculty and need about twenty minutes. Our office at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. Here is screen shoot the Faculty.

Karel Juryca, is PhD student under the direction of Dr.Jan Pidanic. He help and guide us while we are in Pardubice. Thank you Karel for your kindness. We ere in the similar room with Karel. Here is the our room office at the Faculty

The faculty of electrical and informatics has old and new building. Our room are in the old building. Access room of the building is via student card completely with the smart-card.

On Friday, we are getting journey to Hradec Klarov for Jum’ah Prayer. Hardec Klarov located about 18 kilometers from Pardubice. To Hradec Klarove we have to get train about 25 minutes. Like Commuter Line at Jakarta. The ticket is 34 CK per person. There is an Islamic Center there.

We start from Pardubice at 09.00 am from apartment to Pardubice main train station. The train will be departured at  10.30.  We arrived at Hradec Klarove station and walked toward to the Islamic Center. The distance from Hradec  Klarove station is about 800 meters. We arrived at 11.00 am and there is not people there. After waiting for about one hour, one people came and give me salam : “Assalamu’alayku,”. We answer : “Wa’alaykumsalam warohmatulloh wabarokatuhu”. MasyaAlloh we are very glad because since one week we never meet muslim in Pardubice. We introduce ourselves and also him.

Moadz,  his name is  Muadz in Arabic. Muadz is student in Charles University. He study in Faculty of Medicine. He also the Imam and khotib in this Jum’ah. Jum’ah at Hradec Klarove start at 2 pm. So we still have to wait for about two hour. Fortunately, there is wifi connection at the building. Here is the place for prayer.

After prayer, we discus with other student Mushreq and Zayd. Most of student we meet them are from syiria, however they live on UEA except Zayd, he is from United Kingdom (UK). We discus about study at Europe and other discussion related to the activity in Hradec Kralove. Muadz explain that for Iedul Adha, there will be activity here. Alhamdulillah..
